Strategic partnership with Autonomys Network to provide decentralized, cryptographically verifiable storage for Heurist’s agentic data.
01.Introduction
We already built a Memory Agent that remembers conversations across sessions on Heurist Mesh. Users love it. The challenge? Building persistent agentic data storage that scales without compromising privacy or permanence.
We’re announcing a strategic partnership with Autonomys Network that solves this through decentralized storage architecture. Instead of depending on any single provider, our AI applications now store memories and outputs across thousands of independent storage nodes with cryptographic guarantees for permanence.
02.The Architecture Challenge
Memory Agent maintains conversation history across platforms and sessions. The technical challenge comes down to storage architecture: how do you store sensitive memories in a way that guarantees both permanence and privacy?
Standard storage solutions create dependencies on single providers, introducing both availability risks and privacy considerations. When memories live in one place, that place becomes a single point of failure — and a single point of access.
Autonomys Network addresses the limitations of decentralized storage through a novel Proof-of-Archival-Storage (PoAS) consensus mechanism, where consensus and data availability are tightly coupled. Instead of merely distributing data across third-party servers, Autonomys ensures that all stored content is cryptographically verifiable, permanently replicated across a global network of permissionless storage nodes (farmers), and accessible without reliance on off-chain trust layers. Auto Drive, Autonomys’ developer- and user-friendly gateway to permanent on-chain storage, exposes both a REST API and a drag-and-drop web UI to make interacting with verifiable blockspace intuitive and secure.
03.What This Integration Delivers
Permanent Storage for AI Outputs: We’re leveraging Auto Drive to persistently store all outputs generated by Heurist applications directly on Autonomys’ verifiable storage layer. From image generations in Heurist Imagine to research artifacts from intelligent agents and conversation logs from Memory Agents, all data is immutably recorded with cryptographic integrity and permanent availability — eliminating reliance on off-chain storage or third-party pinning services.
Persistent AI Memory That Scales: Our Memory Agents and research agents can now maintain persistent knowledge bases across Autonomys’ distributed storage network. This enables AI systems that actually get smarter over time — accumulating expertise rather than starting fresh with each deployment. Conversation histories, learned preferences, and analytical crypto insights persist across any infrastructure changes.
Private Storage for Creative Outputs: Images created through Heurist Imagine, research results from intelligent agents, and sensitive analysis now get stored with client-side encryption across distributed nodes. You control the encryption keys. No single entity can access, analyze, or delete your AI-generated content.
We’re collaborating with Autonomys on experimental agent architectures that leverage permanent decentralized storage for enhanced verification, composability, and data provenance. This partnership supports next-generation developments in autonomous AI systems.
04.Contributing the AI3.0 Infrastructure Stack
This partnership represents another step toward a complete infrastructure for decentralized AI. Together, we’re building a stack where AI applications can operate with both computational power and guaranteed data persistence.
As we expand autonomous agent infra services and Autonomys prepares for its Phase 2 Mainnet Launch, this integration lays the foundation for AI applications designed for longevity rather than disposability.
Developers can start exploring this integration through our documentation and begin building AI applications that remember, learn, and evolve over time.
05.About Autonomys
The Autonomys Network — the foundation layer for AI3.0 — is a hyper-scalable decentralized AI (deAI) infrastructure stack encompassing high-throughput permanent distributed storage, data availability and access, and modular execution. Our deAI ecosystem provides all the essential components to build and deploy secure super dApps (AI-powered dApps) and on-chain agents, equipping them with advanced AI capabilities for dynamic and autonomous functionality.
Heurist operates a decentralized AI-as-a-Service platform enabling developers to build composable AI applications through serverless infrastructure. Our agent framework includes Memory Agents, research tools, and creative applications, with 30+ specialized agents accessible through unified APIs. The Heurist Mesh provides the compute layer for autonomous AI systems that can interact with Web3 protocols while maintaining persistent memory and state.
